heading: PSP auralComp,
paragraph: PSP auralComp, which we’ve affectionately nicknamed “Avocado”, is a multi-channel compressor and limiter designed from the bottom up to be powerful, simple, and flexible in all kinds of surround and immersive audio applications.

,
paragraph: Powerful: PSP auralComp is the first in a series of plug-ins created in partnership with acclaimed immersive audio pioneer Ronald Prent, whose credits include Depeche Mode, Helloween, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Def Leppard, Richie Hawtin, Celine Dion, Simple Minds, and many others. Ronald has helped to design and tune analog multi-channel dynamics processors and mixing / mastering consoles, and has brought his expertise to PSP for use in PSP auralComp.

,
paragraph: Simple: PSP auralComp presents up to 16 channels of compression per multi-channel input bus, each one with familiar controls and metering. If you’ve got multiple channels that require the same settings, just group them and adjust them all at once, and PSP auralComp will do the rest.

,
paragraph: Flexible: PSP auralComp has a variety of Quick Select options that allow you to choose many different types of immersive audio configurations, from basic 5.1 through many more complex layouts up to 7.1.4, so you can set up your system with one click. You can also set PSP auralComp to Mid-Side processing for stereo tracks. There’s even an output stage brick wall limiter for final peak control.

,
paragraph: We think PSP auralComp is the best multi-channel compressor and limiter plug-in ever made. After you’ve had a chance to use it on your most demanding immersive audio projects, we think you’ll agree.

,
heading: PSP auralComp Key features:,
list: Selectable speaker configurations, ranging from stereo to M-S to 7.1.2 (ProTools) and 7.1.4 (Nuendo)., Eight individual side chain submixes with advanced side chain filtering., High-quality opto compressor at the core of the plug-in., Output brick wall limiter., Compact yet straightforward graphical user interface., Advanced linking mechanism.,
heading: PSP auralControl,
paragraph: PSP auralControl (AAX, VST3, AudioUnit) is an essential tool for multichannel tracking, mixing and mastering. Its aim is to individually adjust level, polarity, bandwidth and timing for each individual channel in the multichannel set.

,
paragraph: Predefined industry standard multichannel formats, grouping capability, and displaying all features on a single screen makes the PSP auralControl a time saver in a virtually every surround project. Whether dealing with imbalances in the multichannel live stem, addressing problems with a multichannel reverb track, not wanting to limit the spectrum content of the LFE or ceiling speakers, or adjusting the center channel timing and level in reference to left and right – PSP auralControl offers a straight-forward solution to these problems.

,
paragraph: We designed this plug-in to make our friends’ lives easier. Special thanks to Thor Fienberg and Scott Michael Smith for initial idea, inspiration and help from the beginning of the project.

,
heading: Typical Uses,
list: Re-balancing multichannel stems., Monitoring of multichannel buses: you have peak meters for each channel and can mute or solo desired channels on multichannel buses – for example to check SIDEs on a multichannel reverb send., Gain staging for multichannel buses: you can control the level of each channel with ease – for example bring up REARs on effect sends, reduce LFE., Simple multichannel operations: you have direct access to basic HPF and LPF filters for each channel – for example to roll-off LFE with LPF or to leave only “air” on TOPs with HPF., Advanced effect operations: you have access to a Delay section to setup unique depths for multichannel mixes – for example you can put a multi-mono instance of PSP 2445 on a multichannel reverb send, creating a type of “big monophonic reverb.” With PSP auralControl you can roll off LFE, set different frequency ranges and levels for FRONTs, REARs, SIDEs and TOPs and set different pre-delays for each channel group to produce a full-sounding multichannel reverb., Advanced level riding: you have access to channel groups and record automation with relative or reversed linking (reversed linking – for example bringing up FRONT levels while reducing REAR levels)., Advanced Mid-Side operations: you have access to Mid-Side processing of Stereo tracks.,
