After a full year of heavy development work with guitar hero Andrey Smirnoff, Overloud presents the TH-U All Metal Gears plug-in pack, which bundles numerous pieces of carefully selected and designed gear to deliver the ultimate TH-U expansion pack for metal guitarists and producers. From crisp, crystal-clear cleans for huge atmospherics to perfectly balanced high-gain tones that cut through a mix like butter, this pack provides easy access to the sounds of the most recent trends in metal guitar playing.

This pack comes with four distinct amp models designed for different metal styles, two cabinets, eight IRs specifically crafted for high-gain tones, 18 pedal and rack effects including the Multiband compressor, Atmosphere, and Space Machine, and 34 patches recreating all the signature Andrey Smirnoff tones. Through TH-U features like Rig Player, Amp Tweaks, Tuner, and Looper, you can mix and match gear, move mic placements, and customize internal circuitry for unparalleled versatility.

Control and IRs
MIDI Total Control
Setting up a MIDI floorboard is as easy as clicking an element on the TH-U interface and pressing the corresponding pedal on the MIDI pedalboard. TH-U learns the MIDI connection and makes it instantly available in any preset. Gigs have never been so much fun as with TH-U.
3D Cabinet Simulation and Double IR Loader
TH-U offers a matrix of four microphones, which can be placed anywhere in the 3D space—in front and behind the cabinet. You can also change the angle or pan in the stereo space. Fluid Convolution allows you to move the microphones seamlessly and use long IRs to get realistic and solid tones without any interpolation or aliasing.

A double IR loader integrated into the cabinet module allows you to load and mix IRs with the cab microphones. The ReSPiRe 2 technology allows you to choose between the real response of the cabinet and a processed version optimized to fit into the mix; and you can choose between six different room types and 18 microphone models.

Amp Tweak
Thanks to its innovative DSP technology, TH-U features a new panel, which allows you to change the pre and power tube models, as well as simulate the action of a variac. This allows you to mod any amplifier model with an almost limitless combination of tubes and opens the product to new sound capabilities.
