heading: BDX-909 is a next-generation kick drum synthesizer featuring authentic TR-909 analog circuit emulation with revolutionary real-time modulation control. Built from analyzed hardware schematics, it delivers the legendary 909 punch through hardware-accurate diode clipping, transistor VCA modeling, and authentic LFSR noise generation clocked at 300kHz. The innovative dual MIDI system offers both chromatic musical control and instant access to 24 carefully curated preset tunings mapped to C6-B7. Advanced features include real-time modulation wheel clipping control that morphs from classic asymmetric TR-909 character to extreme unlimited-headroom distortion, phase-aware click enhancement that intelligently boosts transients when the main oscillator is weak, and a hardware-matched exponential velocity curve for authentic dynamic response. The analog-modeled signal path features RC envelope generators, transistor VCA with subtle nonlinearity, and multi-stage filtering including mid-cut boxiness removal and high-frequency analog warmth. With pitch bend support (±12 semitones), dual-range envelope scaling (Tune X2, Decay X2), asymmetric level smoothing, and zero-latency processing, BDX-909 transforms any track from tight vintage rhythms to aggressively distorted modern powerhouse kicks.
