Overloud TAF LGD-121 IR Library for TH-U SuperCabinet (Download) Overview

Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for the TH-U SuperCabinet modeling software will be impressed with the Overloud The Amp Factory TAF LGD-121, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of a Custom 2×12 with Eminence Legend 121a speakers.

The TAF LGD-121 is a power driver and not for the weak hearted. The cabinet features a natural high-end roll off that reduces fizz from many sources in a guitarist’s setup. The fuzz and distortion characteristics really shine through for easy mixing. This library features IRs systematically captured with 14 mics for over 100 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 8 positions each with two distances using a Neve 1073/VR Legend console.

Made for the SuperCabinet
The SuperCabinet IR processor makes it easy to blend and create custom cabinet tones and export IRs in WAV format for use in external IR loaders and modelers. Andy from TheAmpFactory in his Orangetreestudios HQ captured a Custom 2×12 with Eminence Legend 121a speakers—a power driver with a natural high-end roll off that has perfect fuzz and distortion characteristics.

  • Graphically browse the IRs in the library
  • Blend them together
  • Craft new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
  • Use the IR in the software
  • Export the IRs in WAV-file format, compatible with software IR loaders and all the major hardware modelers
