Steinberg Tales Open Tuning Guitar (Download)

Tales is a sophisticated open tuning guitar instrument designed for music producers and sound designers seeking authentic classical nylon guitar textures with extensive layering capabilities. This premium virtual instrument combines meticulously sampled classical guitar recordings captured in open tuning configurations, delivering warm, resonant tones that capture the natural harmonic richness of traditional acoustic guitar playing. The instrument is available in both HALion and HALion Sonic formats, providing seamless integration into your existing production workflow regardless of your preferred Steinberg platform.

What sets Tales apart is its innovative approach to texture layering and sound design flexibility. Beyond the core classical nylon guitar samples, this instrument includes more than 60 layered textures that allow you to blend, combine, and manipulate the fundamental guitar sounds into entirely new sonic territories. Whether you’re creating ambient soundscapes, cinematic underscore, or experimental electronic music, these texture layers provide endless creative possibilities for transforming the organic guitar character into unique hybrid instruments. The open tuning sampling methodology ensures that each note resonates with the characteristic sustain and harmonic complexity that makes open tuning guitars so musically expressive.

Perfect for composers, film score producers, and electronic music creators who demand both authenticity and creative flexibility, Tales bridges the gap between traditional acoustic instrumentation and modern sound design. The combination of high-quality classical guitar samples with extensive texture manipulation tools makes this virtual instrument an essential addition to any professional music production toolkit.
