Available for download, FinalPlug 6 from Wave Arts is a brickwall limiter designed for sonically transparent operation in mastering applications. Use it to ensure your peaks never touch the digital ceiling, while simultaneously setting a competitive output level for your final project. The limiter works using a lookahead parameter of 1.5 ms to predict peaks and react accordingly.

In addition to limiting, the plug-in offers selectable dithering shapes to help you in the down-resoution process. Many projects either operate in 24- or 32-bit before they get to mastering. However, a CD file is 16-bit, and going from one to the other can create truncation noise if dithering is not applied. This plug-in solves the issue by supplying TPDF dither with 12 selectable noise shapes. You can use this plug-in to bit shift down to 4 bits if need be.

It offers 6 independent frequency bands with selectable 6, 18, or 30 dB/octave crossovers. Each crossover makes use of a proprietary filter network to eliminate distortion.

Each section offers its own compressor, gate, and expander, allowing you to treat your frequency ranges as needed. You’ll find Lo Gain, Threshold, Hi Gain, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Knee controls per band. The plug-in supports sample rates up to 192 kHz, and is compatible with AU, VST3, and AAX plug-in formats. It will work on Mac and Windows operating systems.

Available for download, Panorama 6 from Wave Arts allows you to create three-dimensional audio from mono or stereo tracks. The software uses HRTF (head-related transfer functions) to create sound localization cues that are experienced as spacial information. You can use this software to generate realistic, three-dimensional wall reflections, reverberation, distance modeling, and Doppler pitch effects.

You can select processing for loudspeakers or headphones as an intended destination, and you can also make use of the crosstalk canceller to format the output for playback over loudspeakers. In doing so,  sounds can appear to come from outside the normal stereo soundstage.

TrackPlug 6 offers a 10-band EQ with selectable EQ types, as well as high- and low-pass brickwall filters, two independent compressors, a gate/expander, and a peak limiter. The integrated preset manager allows you to A/B two settings for comparison.
