Description

Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for the TH-U SuperCabinet modeling software will be impressed with the Overloud Choptones BRIT 1960 4×12 T75, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of a Marshall 1960 A 4×12 with Celestion G12-T75 speakers in a slanted-front closed-back solid-birch-plywood cabinet, well suited for modern rock.

This library features IRs systematically captured with 12 mics on a motorized mic stand for over 300 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 8 to 16 positions each, with some of the mics receiving an extra off-axis capture at 45°. The BRIT 1960 4×12 T75 provides huge firm low-end with aggressive midrange and softened top end.

Made for the SuperCabinet

BRIT 1960 4×12 T75

The slanted-front closed-back cabinet is made from solid birch plywood. The cabinet is possibly the most commonly used 4×12, perfect for modern rock. The speaker is built to meet the demands of high gain amps like the G12-T75, which provides huge firm low-end with aggressive midrange and softened top end.
