The MDynamicEq from MeldaProduction is an equalizer plug-in featuring five, variable-slope, resonance-less dynamic filters that can do common tasks such as de-essing, ducking, compression, expansion, in addition to equalization. Flexible high-pass and low-pass filters are also available for speeding up the mixing workflow.

The MDrumLeveler from MeldaProductions is a plug-in designed for improving drum performances by stabilizing drum hit levels, removing leakage and ambience, and providing control over individual drum hits. A traditional dynamics processor detects levels of input samples and transforms them depending on a transfer curve that can result in gain changing on every sample. This is useful in shaping the sound itself, but makes it hard to be transparent when wanting to level individual drum hits.

The software detects events (drum hits for example) and transforms the level of each event without altering the sound or color, resulting in excellent transparency. The plug-in also removes leakage and ambience and provides drum envelope shaping. The software’s event detector is adjustable and along with other settings, provides two parallel resonant band-pass filters to target the dominant frequencies of a particular drum sound.

A 20 ms look ahead limiter provides 100% accuracy for standard drums, but for live situations that can be narrowed down to 5 ms while still delivering acceptable results.

MCompare from MeldaProductions is a plug-in designed to help mixing and mastering engineers reference both other audio sources and various stages of a particular audio workflow, such as a dry mix to a later version. This is important since, although increasing loudness of an audio source may feel like it sounds better, acoustic errors in the spectral and spatial balance could be masked by the loud wall of sound. Comparing tracks is simple and the software compensates for any latency that might be present. Additionally, the level of a reference track can be lowered automatically to compare it with the user’s audio.

The MMultiAnalyzer from MeldaProductions is a plug-in featuring a multitrack analyzer and sonogram, useful for revealing problems and frequency collisions quickly, easily, and accurately. Standard analysis may sometimes be confusing, but with features such as normalization, super-resolution and deharmonization, the user can quickly understand the audio material and identify any problems that are occurring.
