The Phoscyon T-303 Bass Line Emulation Virtual Instrument by D16 Group Audio Software is a plug-in emulation of the classic T-303 Bass Line synthesizer. The software features a unique 18 dB/octave low pass filter with no self oscillation, a constant resonance amplitude throughout the frequency domain, a fully customizable integrated arpeggiator, and a carefully modeled analog distortion effect. For synthesis, the software features two analog modeled oscillators, one saw and one square, with controls over tuning, slide time, cut off frequency, resonance, sweep time, envelope mod, envelope attack, envelope decay, acc. decay, envelope accent, accept volume, and step length all with scaled knob ranges.
The internal sequencer features 96 patterns-each with up to 16 steps per pattern and unique swing and tempo values, a shuffle mode, a chain mode, and the option to import and export patterns via XML files. You can synchronize a pattern to the host software’s tempo or to an internal clock between 30 and 300 BPM (± 0.1). A built-in arpeggiator includes 7 predefined chords and 1 user defined chord, 4 patterns (Up, Down, Up-Down, Random,) defined offsets of workable octaves, a repeat feature, and a tempo multiplier of 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, or 6.
The built-in distortion effect is designed to sound like a transistor amplifier with equalization and features signal routing between the distortion and EQ section of the synth. The device’s randomizer generates patterns within defined ranges of notes using defined chords such as Major, Minor, 7th, minor 7th, major 7th, minor 7th diminished 5th, and DIM.) It also can generate random values for gate, note, accent, and slide. You can also define the frequency that different attributes are randomly changed.
The plug-in can be fully controlled using MIDI CC and allows you trigger sounds externally using notes from the host application or internally using the step sequencer.
The D16 Group Drumazon 2 Drum Machine 909 Emulation Plug-In is a drum synthesizer plug-in that emulates the classic 909 analog drum machine. It can produce bass drum, snare, tom, rim shot, hi-hat, and cymbal sounds, each of which can be routed through any of the plug-in’s 11 outputs.
The Drumazon 2 can be controlled via external MIDI through the host application or by its internal 16-step sequencer, and MIDI Learn can be used for easy and fast controller assignment. 8 banks of presets, with 12 patterns per bank, are provided to help get you started programming. Patterns can be stored and exported as XML files for sharing between users. The plug-in can be synced to the host application’s BPM or controlled by its internal clock. The Devastor Multiband Distortion Plug-In from D16 Group is a VST and AU plug-in compatible distortion unit. It features three sections: a dynamic gain module, a diode-clipper distortion module, and three filter sections that you can independently set to pre or post distortion. The filter section is modeled after those found in many analog synthesizers and has low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-reject filter types to select from. D16 employs anti-aliasing techniques to the output that is designed to add a musical quality to your tracks.
The Devastor is capable of producing a wide range of distortion types, from crunchy synth sounds to guitar fuzz or gentle warmth. It can be applied to guitars, synths, vocals, keys, and drums. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or PC computers.
Part of the company’s SilverLine Collection of classic effects, the D16 Group Fazortan 2 Controllable Space Phaser is a plug-in that can accurately emulate the sound of a 1970s, analog all-pass phase shifter. It features two, fully controllable LFOs with multiple waveform modes, which can be tempo-synced with the host application to create a wide variety of warm-sounding phaser effects with old-school flavor.

The D16 Group Decimort High-Quality Bit Crusher Plug-In is a VST and AU plug-in compatible bit-crusher that is designed to emulate the grit and color of classic hardware samplers by replicating the audio aliasing that resulted from their lower sample and bit rates. The Decimort allows for separate processing of your stereo channels to create a wider stereo range. It provides further tone shaping controls with two analog-emulated filters with adjustable resonance and cutoff frequencies. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or PC computers.
The D16 Group Redoptor Vintage Tube Distortion Plug-in is a VST and AU compatible emulated tube distortion plug-in. It allows for a variety of tone shaping control, including a 4-band parametric equalizer and adjustable high and low frequency preamp cut-offs. When operating on stereo sources, you can adjust each channel independently, which allows your individual channels to have different harmonics and distortion. Redoptor is designed for use on guitars, drum loops, arpeggiated sequences, and synthetic or acoustic sounds. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or PC computers.
The Toraverb 2 Space Modulated Reverb Plug-In from D16 Group is a VST- and AAX-compatible modulated reverb plug-in. It features two single-band parametric EQs to shape the tone of your early and late reflections. The modulation parameter allows you to modulate the reverb tail to create a realistic sense of an acoustic reverb. The Toraverb 2 employs a special reflection algorithm that creates crosstalk between the stereo channels of the reverb, emulating how we hear reverb in an acoustic space. The software requires a VST- or AAX-compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or Windows computers.
The D16 Group Syntorus Double Path Chorus Plug-In is a VST and AU compatible emulated analog chorus plug-in. It features two emulated analog bucket brigade-style delay line modules that are designed to provide a lush chorus effect when used in tandem. In addition to the delay modules, the Syntorus also has an LFO controlled tremolo effect that can be synced to the host application’s BPM, for performance-exact timing. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or PC computers.
The LuSH-101 Multitimbral Polyphonic Synthesizer Software from D16 Group is a VST and AU synthesizer plug-in that features 8 synthesizer modules that can be layered, assigned to separate MIDI channels, or set up as separate keyboard zones. The synthesizer modules feature 32-note polyphony and are modeled after analog units. They are designed to be alias-free, producing clear audio up to 22kHz.
The 8 modules are routed to a built-in mixer that features layer-independent parametric EQ and compression as well as 3 effect sends. You can further shape and effect your tone with the built-in arpeggiators or via the modulation matrix. The LuSH-101’s filters can be controlled by the LFOs, allowing you to create Dubstep and Drum & Bass tones. Over 1600 presets are included to help you get started and to show what the LuSH-101 is capable of sonically.
