Get the vintage analog tones of the ARP Quadra from your computer courtesy of the Cherry Audio Quadra virtual synthesizer, a painstaking recreation of the venerable analog synth from 1978. A true unicorn synth, the original ARP Quadra wasn’t produced in large numbers and was hampered by technical breakdowns, but this digital emulation offers a reliable and sonically convincing alternative with numerous workflow improvements and added details to create a powerful and distinctive instrument.Unlike the original analog behemoth, the Cherry Audio Quadra allows you to layer each section anywhere across the keyboard, and the transposition ranges have been increased for most sections. The Poly Synthesizer section now offers velocity response control, additional waveforms and modulation options, and an additional octave, while the Lead section offers additional waveforms, adjustable note priority, and a powerful arpeggiator. The LFO offers multiple waveform choices and is tempo-syncable to your DAW clock. The flexible Bender section allows pitch-bend data to independently modulate pitches and filter cutoff for each instrument section. In addition to the 14-stage Phase Shifter from the original, the Quadra includes Chorus/Flanger, Echo, and Reverberator effects, to flesh out your sounds with added depth and drama. The Quadra Multi Out provides 5 sets of outputs for extensive effect routing and flexibility.
