The Cherry Audio Miniverse is a faithful virtual emulation of a seminal portable analog synthesizer frrom 1971 that’s ready to run on your Mac or Windows computer as a standalone instrument or as a plug-in within your DAW. Intensely circuit-modeled by award-winning developer Mark Barton, the Miniverse carefully replicates the distinctive analog oscillators and ladder filter from the original instrument while expanding upon the original monophonic instrument with polyphonic capabilities for up to 16 voices and MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) for a more nuanced playing experience.The original instrument’s distinctive Cosmo knobs and switches, textured surface, and maple cabinet have been meticulously recreated to futher enhance the playing experience. Despite the additonal polyphony and touch-response options, the core sound engine remains the same streamlined 3-oscillator powerhouse, with no additional LFO or FX added to distract from the sonic purity. With over 250 presets covering a wide variety of sounds ranging from earthshaking bass and cutting leads to classic synth brass and electronic keys, the Miniverse is ready to bring vintage synth goodness to your computer.
