The library features growls and snarls that will knock the socks off of listeners—who will really feel the horrific depth of your two-legged foes. All sounds are available in both mono and stereo with two different perspectives.
Bring Your Characters to Life
Use this high-quality, ultradetailed audio library to design the upright monsters of movies, video games, and animations. The creature sounds include 12 different actions: idle, attack (short/long), pain (small/medium/large), death, alerted, and inhale/exhale (short/medium).
A Diverse Range of Voices
With 12 clearly defined emotions, it’s easy to find the right sound. The sets are not limited to creature sounds, but also perfect for human combat. In addition, they are split between 15 male and 7 female vocal sets and are available in both mono and stereo.
Designed
Big Bad Monsters Sounds
The Designed library captures all those big bad monster sounds that come at you upright and standing up. Presenting 15 different creatures, from guttural orc snarls and zombie moans to creepy troll breaths—all the horror is available at your fingertips.
Ready to Use
boom LIBRARY’s twisted and mangled DESIGNED sounds are ready to drop directly into your project. From pitch and formant shifting zombie grunts and groans, to adding massive reverb to airy breaths, shrieking banshees, and whispering ghosts. Check out the Golem sample for real DESIGNED mayhem: layers, processing, and intimidation.
Brains! Brains!
You want zombies? You’ve got zombies. The DESIGNED pack has taken the already hungry growls to new depths of starving for brains, adding pitch and formant shifting and various types of distortion.
Technical Information
What was Recorded?
boom LIBRARY recorded snarls, grunts, and screams in their studios. They not only included their own professional team of grunters, but brought in the stylings of the metal vocalist from The Tex Avery Syndrome. They also used kazoos, PVC pipes, and paper tubes to add some resonance and something to gnaw on during down time.
Rich Metadata Embedded
To provide you with the fastest and easiest workflow possible, all files contain extensive metadata like file description and keywords to quickly find the sounds you’re looking for. Metadata can be read and processed by audio management tools. Some digital audio workstations feature an included search tool that can also read embedded metadata. Here are the most common audio management tools.
