You might think why are they prepitching sounds if I can do in my favorite audio editor as a batch on my own? The answer to that is quality. You get the prepitched versions in 96 kHz from their original 192 kHz files, and you have faster access to exactly the kind of sound you want. Important: All files in the construction kit are provided in mono. Why? If you really want to have cool and broad sound effects, you have to create them anyway. Best thing then is to build them out of the source material they are providing, offering enough variations on each sound to design with unique and dedicated mono sounds. boom wanted to record more sounds and fill the library with more variations—stereo recordings may have more audio information than you really need.

A construction kit generally contains thousands of sounds provided to you as raw as possible—only processed as needed for a specific topic, and perfectly organized to make it easy for you to use them.
