{post_title} Overview

Audio Modeling Camelot 2.0 simplifies the management and automation of most complex tasks associated with producing a musical live performance. It functions as a setlist manager, a multitrack audio player with a timeline dedicated to automations, an instrument plug-in and FX host, a hardware instrument manager for to recall presets, an advanced MIDI patchbay and router, and a PDF music score reader. This Swiss-army-knife workstation helps musicians streamline their technical workflow during the show, allowing them to focus on musicianship and performing.

Camelot 2.0’s multitrack audio player features a timeline that enables you to attach audio when performing live with backing tracks. You can play back music tracks and automate switching hardware and software instrument presets, levels, music scores, and more—all hands-free. You don’t need to press the play button, as you can trigger your backing tracks and songs in the exact order they’re meant to be played, using only one pedal (available separately).

The software runs on macOS/Windows computers and iPads. It allows you to host plug-in instruments and FX with VST and AU support for macOS/Windows, and Audio Units v3 on iPad.

Setlist, Song, and Scene Manager

  • Keep all of your songs organized by events and projects. Share songs and setlists with bandmates and across devices.
  • Songs in the setlist can have one or more Scenes that each include a timeline. When you select a song in Camelot, you load all the resources needed to play that song (i.e., virtual instruments, FX, and audio tracks).
  • Scenes recall and organize hardware instruments presets, MIDI connections, software plug-in presets, and music score attachments. You can switch freely from one Scene to another without sound interruptions.
  • Songs, scenes, and layers can be easily created using custom templates to speed up your show preparation.

Multitrack Audio Player, Timeline, and Automations

  • The Camelot timeline and automation area lets you attach audio backing tracks, add auto-play and auto-stop markers, and automate scene switching.
  • On the Timeline you can have multiple audio tracks with separate audio outputs and at the same time use the playback feature to automate the scene switch at exactly the right time in the sequence.
  • You can use the timeline to recall your hardware and software instruments presets, MIDI routings, configurations, your music scores, and annotations.
  • The timeline transport controls can be easily assigned to a pedal, a MIDI controller, computer keyboard keys, or a Bluetooth page switcher, so you can keep your hands on your instruments.

Hardware Instrument Manager with Smart Maps

  • Smart Maps allows you to recall your hardware instruments presets without the need of any MIDI implementation chart.
Software instruments and FX Host
  • Extend your sonic choices by adding software instruments and FX to your performance. Depending on your system, Camelot allows you to host plug-in instruments for each scene.

PDF Music Score Reader

  • Read your chords, music scores, and lyrics directly in Camelot by simply attaching PDF, PNG, or JPG files to each scene or song.
  • View your attachments on one or two pages. You can also select if you want to scroll or switch pages for browsing.

MIDI Patchbay & Router

  • The MIDI settings section enables you to transpose, octave shift, and filter unwanted MIDI events, and route/replicate messages from one input channel to another.
  • The MIDI port manager lets you quickly assign, replace, and reconfigure MIDI input and output ports, with one button.
  • For more creative effects, load MIDI processors like arpeggiators at the beginning of any Layer.

Smart Scene Transition

  • Smart-scene transition allows you to switch scenes without sound interruptions from audio plug-ins. It also ensures smooth MIDI transitions between different routings and configurations.
