The CR-78 Drum Machine Software from Cherry Audio is a virtual version of the original CR-78 drum machine. This Mac- and Windows-compatible application accurately recreates the punchy analog sounds and 34 onboard preset rhythms of the original machine, and it improves upon them. Instead of beat programming, the software features a familiar X0X-style button-per-step interface. It offers an easy-to-use song mode for pattern chaining. Other features include modeled synthesis, four studio-quality effects, a complete mixer, a compressor, and a six-band graphic EQ.
