Description

Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for TH-U SuperCabinet modeling software will be impressed with the Overloud TAF SWAMP, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of a Custom 1×12 with Eminence SwampThang speakers.

The TAF SWAMP is a heavy-hitting guitar cabinet well suited for heavy tones and brutal warfare. Excellent for palm mutes and down-tuned instruments, for harder rock variations. It seemingly offers a great push-pull feel that other cabinets can’t manage, but is not great for subtle playing. This library features IRs systematically captured with 14 mics for over 100 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 8 positions each with two distances using a Neve 1073/VR Legend console.

Made for SuperCabinet
SuperCabinet IR processor makes it easy to blend and create custom cabinet tones and export IRs in WAV format for use in external IR loaders and modelers. Andy from TheAmpFactory in his Orangetreestudios HQ captured a Custom 1×12 with Eminence SwampThang speakers that’s great for heavy tones. Use for heavy palm mutes and down-tuned guitars, the TAF SWAMP provides a great push-pull feel, but it is not so good for subtle playing styles.

  • Graphically browse the IRs in the library
  • Blend them together
  • Craft new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
  • Use the IR in the software
  • Export the IRs in WAV-file format, compatible with software IR loaders and all the major hardware modelers
