Description
The Choptones Eddi3 212 T75 IR Library for TH-U Supercabinet from Overloud is a powerful IR library for TH-U SuperCabinet that extensively captures the biting, aggressive guitar tone of an EVH 2×12 straight-front, closed-back cabinet, paired with huge sounding Celestion G12-T75 speakers. This library features IRs systematically captured with 12 mics on a motorized mic stand for more than 300 total impulse responses.
The mics recorded IRs in 8 to 16 positions each, with some of the mics receiving an extra off-axis capture at 45°. The EVH cabinet has a truly powerful sound that, when paired with it’s Celestion G12-T75 speakers, provide massive low-end, in-your-face midrange, and lighter high-end, perfectly suited to hard rock and metal styles. Designed exclusively for the SuperCabinet IR processor, a program that makes it easy to blend and create custom cabinet tones and export IRs in WAV format for use in external IR loaders and modelers, the Eddi3 212 T75 IR Library is a great choice for guitarists seeking a heavy and huge-sounding guitar-amp combo in an affordable package.

Every microphone has been moved to 4 different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone, and Cone Edge), and two distances, for a total of 8 IRs each. For some of the microphones, the measurements have been repeated with the microphone off axis (45º). All the measurements have been repeated twice, with two different mic preamps: a Neve 1073 and a German preamp.
