Description

The Choptones Bogna 412 V30 IR Library for TH-U SuperCabinet from Overloud is a SuperCabinet IR library that captures the big, fat guitar tone of the legendary Bogner 4×12 straight front, closed back cabinet. Paired with one of the most famous speakers in the guitar world, the Celestion Vintage 30, this library features IRs captured with 11 mics on a motorized mic stand for more than 300 total impulse responses.

The mics recorded IRs in 8 to 16 positions each, with some of the mics receiving an extra off-axis capture at 45°. The Bogner 4×12 has legendary depth and bass response for an absolutely huge sound, and the Celestion V30 speaker, with it’s H magnet and newer cone and coil, provides warm low-end with a rich midrange while maintaining crisp and detailed high-ends. Designed exclusively for the SuperCabinet IR processor, a program which makes it easy to blend and create custom cabinet tones and export IRs in WAV format for use in external IR loaders and modelers, the Bogna 412 V30 IR Library is a great choice for guitarists seeking a powerful and thick sounding guitar amp combo in an affordable package.

Made for the Supercabinet
The Bogna 412 V30 library is designed exclusively for use with TH-U SuperCabinet, which can either be used as a standalone IR library or with the TH-U plug-in program. SuperCabinet allows you to:

  • Graphically browse the IRs in the library
  • Blend them together
  • Craft new cabinet tones with the unique multiband mode
  • Use the IR in the software
  • Export the IRs in WAV-file format, compatible with software IR loaders and all the major hardware modelers
Epic Power and Overdrive
With a straight front and a closed back, this Bogner 4×12 cabinet can really provide big and fat guitar tones. Usually built with Celestion T75 and V30 speakers—maybe the most famous speakers in the guitar world—great for handling more power and overdrive. Made by coupling the old Celestion H magnet with a new cone and coil, it provides warm low-end with a rich midrange and detailed top end. Captures are performed with a motorized mic stand in order to have consistent measurements across libraries.
