Description

Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for the TH-U SuperCabinet modelling software will be impressed with the Overloud Choptones Bogie 2×12 V30, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of a Mesa Boogie 2×12 horizontal with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, in a straight-front, closed-back, and marine grade Baltic birch plywood cabinet, well suited for modern guitarists.

This library features IRs systematically captured with 12 mics on a motorized mic stand for over 300 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 8 to 16 positions each, with some of the mics receiving an extra off-axis capture at 45°. The Bogie 2×12 V30 provides a warm low-end with a rich midrange and detailed top end.

Made for the SuperCabinet

The SuperCabinet IR processor makes it easy to blend and create custom cabinet tones and export IRs in WAV format for use in external IR loaders and modelers. The Bogie 2×12 V30 IR library is a great choice for guitarists seeking a versatile and powerful modern rock-oriented guitar-amp.

  • Graphically browse the IRs in the library
  • Blend them together
  • Craft new cabinet tones with the unique multiband mode
  • Use the IR in the software
  • Export the IRs in WAV-file format, compatible with software IR loaders and all the major hardware modelers

Bogie 2×12 V30

The cabinet has a straight front, a closed back, and marine-grade Baltic-birch plywood construction—the legendary 2×12 Recto Cab. The speakers maybe the most famous speakers in the guitar world and are great for handling power and overdrive. By coupling the old Celestion H magnet with a new cone and coil, it provides a warm low-end with a rich midrange and a detailed top end.
