Punch-2 is an advanced drum machine that combines drum synthesis/samples with a pattern sequencer. The new main screen allows quick creation of drum kits, enhancing its legacy as a cutting-edge drum machine with added punch. The interface and synthesis sound options have been expanded, enabling the import of REX files and samples for creative loop creation. Custom mapping and editing of REX files and sample slices are possible with filters, envelopes, and routing into 4 FX modules. Punch-2 also features a comprehensive ‘Master’ section with EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Stereo/mono split filter, and layout mixer. A wide range of included sounds further complements its capabilities for music production.
